Light up the Park in Pinckney is BIGGER and BETTER

Head to Pinckney for the annual tree lighting this weekend

By Autumn J. Moricz November 21, 2023

Pinckney will welcome Santa and kick off the holiday season in a community celebration on Sunday, November 26th.

This event is a holiday tradition for many families in Pinckney and beyond. Light Up the Park Pinckney has enhanced the experience with many additions to this year's event.

Take a photo with Santa, enjoy hot cocoa and take a cookie stroll at the area businesses. Kids can visit with Santa and enjoy crafts provided by local businesses.

New this year is the Christmas Tree Trail - with over 30 decorated Christmas Trees from local businesses and families. Trees were provided by Schell Family Farm, located in Pinckney.

W4 Country will also be on site for a special broadcast.

Santa will visit with families and provide for a photo op (without the parking and long lines you would see at the mall!)

My youngest enjoys looking back at his Light Up the Park pictures, a favorite holiday memory. Our first visit was in 2011, our first year as Pinckney residents, when he was just a baby!

There will be plenty of great photo ops. Be sure to get your photo taken by the 15 ft Reindeer handmade and donated by Bark Art Creations.

Families are invited to help their kids write letters to Santa.

Follow the directions below so that Santa can get a letter back before Christmas!

My family and I have enjoyed Light Up the Park Pinckney for years and cannot wait to see all the new additions. We are grateful for our community and they businesses that have worked so hard to make this event bigger and better than ever.
