These Caramel and Granola Apple Nachos are perfect for satisfying those snack-time cravings or serving up a guilt-free dessert everyone will love. Plus, they're versatile depending on your family's preference (or what's in your pantry!) and easy enough that your little sous-chefs can join in on the culinary fun. As part of the Fall Kickoff, Blake’s South Lyon will be partnering with South Lyon-based Active Faith Community Services food pantry to support its mission of providing long term and temporary assistance to people facing difficult times.

Blake’s will be donating $1 per dozen donuts and $1 per bag of u-pick apples purchased on Saturday, September 9th to the Active Faith Community Services!

Caramel and Granola Apple Nachos

Ingredients:

  • Apples (Green or red works!)
  • Caramel sauce
  • Granola
  • Mini chocolate chips

Other Apple Nacho topping combo ideas: 

Peanut Butter Paradise Apple Nachos: warmed peanut butter  | mini pretzels | chocolate shavings
Berry Burst Apple Nachos: Greek yogurt | fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
Maple Pecan Delight: maple syrup | crushed pecans | dried cranberries
S'mores Spectacular: chocolate sauce | mini marshmallows | crushed graham crackers

Directions:

  1. Wash, core, and slice apples very thin.
  2. Spread half of the apple slices on a dish, then drizzle with sauce and sprinkle with toppings.
  3. Place the remaining apple slices on top and repeat with sauce and toppings.
  4. Serve immediately and ENJOY!
